Anywhoo... it's been a while since I've posted, and I've not yet had the pleasure of introducing you all to my fabulous new coffee maker! Oh yes, that's right, I got a Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee maker for Christmas - a red one, to match the rest of my kitchen ware (I already have a red blender, toaster and water kettle) - and only tonight have I actually managed to test it out! It's kinda tricky when you live with your parents to just take over counter space with your awesome new machine... especially since they already have a coffee maker already. Mine is, however, way more awesome. Being red and circular and all, I mean. I have to admit though, my very first attempt didn't go too well... watered out my Chocochino way too much, and decided it was because I thought initially that it would stop when it had made the perfect amount. Clearly, no machine is that clever yet. So, I poured that one down the drain, downsized to a slightly smaller mug. I was using my big one that can easily also be used as a soup-bowl, so I'm kinda taking some of the blame for the first one going (literally) down the drain. After a little measuring to make sure the newly selected mug would hold my next attempt (a cappuccino, for those of you overly interested in this), I started again. And this time, I stopped at the right time and was presented with a really good cappuccino!
Now I can start having friends over for coffee... any kind of coffee they want! Oh yes, I'm gonna become the awesome coffee friend. You know you wanna know me. ;)
